Is air suspension better than stock?
The Benefits and Drawbacks of Air Suspension Systems More driver comfort due to the reduction in noise, harshness, and vibration on the road that can cause driver discomfort and fatigue. Less wear and tear on the suspension system due to reduced harshness and vibration of heavy-duty driving.
The adjustment range of ride height is between 0- 120/200mm. (based on different applications). It only takes 2-3 seconds to lower or raise the vehicle from minimum to maximum or vice versa. With the included wired remote control and IOS or Android smartphone application, it allows you to adjust the ride height of the car.

With our most recent version of the KS RACING Air Suspension Kit, we have redesigned the entire management unit and have integrated the ECU with the control box to one unit to have a sleeker yet aggressive appearance. The ride height can be adjusted with ease while in the car. The ride height can be adjusted at any time to meet your desired height & comfort depending on the load of the vehicle, road conditions and user driving style, however we do not suggest adjusting whilst in motion. The vehicle’s ride height is shown on the OLED display remote control supplied with this kit. In order to add air suspension to a 370z, you are going to need to purchase an all-in-one kit, or piece together your own kit. Both are great options and are readily available in the aftermarket, but building your own high-quality air suspension kit is the best way to go. Let’s take a look at all of the components you will need to bag your 370z. The heart of your air suspension system is going to be the air compressor. Air suspension compressors are responsible for compressing air and pumping it into your air suspension system. The air compressor operates off of your battery and turns on when your air suspension system needs air. AccuAir offers the highest-quality air suspension compressors for VIAIR to ensure you get the best compressor for your 370z air suspension kit. We pair two VIAIR pumps together for a setup that will provide you with all of the air you need to easily air up and air down at the touch of a button. We currently offer dual 485c VIAIR compressors which replaced the previous VIAIR 444c compressors in previous kits.

When converting your 370z to air suspension, you are going to need to swap out those factory coil-overs and springs for air suspension air struts. Air struts are very similar to your current strut or shock, but instead of a coil spring, it employs an air-filled bladder, airbag, to inflate and deflate to lower your vehicle. Air struts are commonly referred to as air springs by many enthusiasts. To raise the vehicle, air inflates the bag and lifts the vehicle. To lower the vehicle, the air is let out of the bag, lowering your vehicle.
If you are ready to add air suspension to your Nissan 370z, trust AccuAir to help you put together a kit that works best for your goals. Our team can help you better understand what you are going to need, suggest the best parts for your build, and provide you with additional information for air suspension questions you may have.In an air suspension kit, the valve manifold is responsible for distributing the air to each of your airbags. Mounted between the air tank and the air struts, the valve manifold contains valves that release air to each strut on demand. These manifolds are essential to the performance of your air suspension system and will be connected to the controller or ECU of your system. Choose between 2 and 4 corner manifolds for your specific setup.

Is air suspension good for winter?
Can air suspension be used in the winter? Most certainly yes! While winter does provide some unique challenges to driving, some simple maintenance on your air system can make cold climate motoring a non-event.
AccuAir is an industry-leading air suspension manufacturer and the quality of our products shows it. We invest heavily in research and development to provide you with the best possible product for your vehicle. As the predecessor to the famous Nissan 350z, the 370z has quickly become a car enthusiast’s favorite. The sleeker, more aggressive styling on the 370z gave Nissan fans everything they were looking for in a sports car. With a more powerful engine and sport-influenced cues, the 370z is a great platform to build a drift car, road race car, or even just a show car. Nissan 370z owners have been adding air suspension since the first few days of their release. Air suspension allows these cars to tuck tires, get the optimal camber, and get the perfect fender to lip fitment 370z owners are looking for. Today, we are going to look at what you need to complete your Nissan 370z air suspension kit.

The air tank on an air suspension system is where compressed air is stored before you use it. These tanks come in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit your specific needs and vehicle. Choosing an air tank for your Nissan 370z is relatively easy as AccuAir’s ENDO tanks fit perfectly in your trunk. To manage your air suspension system, you are going to need an air suspension management system. The air suspension management system is what allows you to manage and adjust your air suspension and ensure your vehicle’s stance is just where you want it. At AccuAir, we are dedicated to providing you with the most technologically advanced air management systems on the market to allow you to control your air suspension system with ease. Our patented e-level controllers have been a staple in the air suspension industry, giving thousands of enthusiasts quick and easy access to their air suspension. Our innovative iOS app allows you to control your air system directly from your iPhone. In air suspension kits, compressed air is used throughout the system. Compressed air can cause moisture which can damage air suspension components over time. In order to prevent moisture buildup, you can install a water trap or filter. Air suspension water traps filter out moisture and debris from the air that gets passed through them.

While ride height sensors are not necessary for all air suspension setups, they can make your kit much easier to use. Ride height sensors can be installed on most AccuAir air suspension kits and will allow you to pre-program certain ride height presets. This allows you to push a button and get to the exact height you want.

As the veins of your air suspension system, the air lines , or air hoses, carry air from the air tank to the air struts. These air lines will need to be routed along with the interior and exterior of your vehicle in a secure location to prevent any unnecessary damage. You will also need to purchase an air line cutter to ensure you get clean cuts when custom fitting your lines. Be sure to take into consideration the correct air line size as this will determine how quickly your height adjustment can be made.
From the factory, Nissan 370zs did not have air suspension. They utilized an upper and lower control arm with a coil-over-shock set up in the front and a multilink setup in the rear. This was great for sporty suspension on a factory vehicle but lacked the versatility of an air suspension setup.

One of the main features of Air Lift Performance is that they are bolt-on kits. This means that your local garage should be able to fit the kit without much difficulty. Is air suspension worth the money?
In the short term, air suspension cars are reliable but tend to see longer distance travel and time on the road where frequent repairs may become necessary. Not repairing your suspension isn’t really an option; if your suspension is broken your car will tilt to one side while driving.
This means your 370Z’s handling and ride quality will be maintained while you are also able to adjust the ride height at will and while driving, meaning you can avoid any obstacles on the road as they come. Most systems will offer a ride range of around five inches but this will vary depending on what 370Z you have. If we don’t provide a kit for your specific car, we can still provide air suspension for most vehicles. Please feel free to call us on 0800 772 0315 or email us to discuss options for your Nissan 370Z or other vehicle. Please do call if you need more information, or to check on stock as it can change quickly. Does air suspension give a better ride?
Ride Quality – Converting your shocks, struts, and coil springs to an air suspension setup allows for a better ride quality due to the design of the air shock. Air shocks make for a comfortable and softer ride quality that is leagues ahead of your factory suspension setup.
Absolutely brilliant customer service, I can’t thank the guys enough for helping me, the airride system fitted to my 2018 focus st is unreall thank you again will definitely go to them in the future 😁😁If you would prefer an air control system other to those listed, please feel free to call or e-mail us. We are happy to discuss your personal requirements and make sure you get the air control system that is right for you.

Air management allows you to get the very best from your kit at all times. It allows the ride height to be adjusted for road, weather and load conditions, and for those who experience grounding issues it allows the absolute maximum lift to be achieved when needed (i.e. for ferries, petrol stations and rough site entrances). If in doubt, please contact us via email or phone.

If you struggle to find what you are looking for please use the search box above and if you still cannot find what you are looking for please feel free to email [email protected] or call 0800 772 0315Important Notice – Due to a restructure, some AirFlex Systems will take longer to produce. Although we are striving to have kits produced under 4 weeks – assembly times may vary from 2-10 weeks. Apologies for any delays caused during this difficult time.NOTE: Pictures are not necessarily for your model. Please use these as a guide. Locking collars may be in a different colour depending on make and model. An air spring system replaces the traditional spring suspension, replacing steel coil springs (or leaf suspension) above the vehicle wheels with airbags made of rubber and polyurethane. These airbags are inflated by an onboard air compressor or electric pump, to a certain pressure to behave in a similar way to traditional springs. The air direction is controlled by air valves that let the air go into different parts of the system to inflate. Another air suspension disadvantage is the cost of maintenance. In the short term, air suspension cars are reliable but tend to see longer distance travel and time on the road where frequent repairs may become necessary. Not repairing your suspension isn’t really an option; if your suspension is broken your car will tilt to one side while driving. You can replace the air spring system with a cheaper, traditional steel spring, but you would lose the known benefits of air suspension cars – so you’ll probably understand that the cost is a necessary evil. One of the main benefits of air suspension cars is the improved comfort behind the wheel, making it good for daily driving. The adjustable air suspension makes for a more comfortable ride on poor quality roads and can improve control when off-roading. The use of airbags above your wheels, rather than springs, also improves the quality of the journey for passengers. As vehicles with air suspension can be adjusted to road type, they benefit from better fuel economy. For example, a lower ride height for motorway driving means better aerodynamics and reduced wind resistance. Conversely, a suspension that is better suited to a particular road surface with better control can achieve higher corner speeds and lead to time-saving on routes with many turns.Another advantage of air suspension is its versatility on load. The height of the car can be adjusted according to the load, the ‘kneel’ or ‘raise’ functions making loading easier from the outset. The purpose of air suspension is to give consistency across all wheels, and there is a lower risk of body roll when turning corners, less risk of breakages and less load shifting and damage caused due to reduced vibrations through the suspension. Plus, better control due to increased firmness provides improved towing capabilities for larger vehicles.

Can air suspension fail?
Several of the common issues with air suspension systems that can require repair include: Rust or moisture damage from the inside that can lead to the air struts or bags to malfunction. Failure of the air suspension tubing connecting the air struts or bags to the air system.
GMT Rubber can offer a wide range of air spring systems from our existing range or air bellows and auxiliary springs. We also supply additional secondary rubber springs for extra suspension protection, in the event of any air leaks and ensure high passenger comfort whatever the application. We specialise in developing and manufacturing air suspensions for railway vehicle bogies. Still, you may wish to weigh up the air suspension advantages and disadvantages and speak to one of our experienced engineers to design a bespoke air spring system to meet the requirements of your commercial vehicles.

Air suspension systems are also prone to mechanical issues. Your suspension may suffer malfunctions from rust or moisture damage from the inside, or an air fitting failure of the air tubing connecting to the air system. Leaks in air springs are also common and could lead to compressor burn out.An air spring system allows the driver to adjust the car to suit their personal preferences for ride comfort and handling. When the driver can choose between a harder drive for motorway driving or a softer feel for demanding roads, the driver maintains control no matter the terrain. Higher cornering speeds and greater levels of control when turning corners can be achieved with air suspension, as the vehicle is better suited to the conditions of the road. An adjustable suspension that can lower the vehicle to the ground means the drag can potentially reduce at higher speeds. Additionally, the ability to raise the car for everyday use is extremely handy for off-road driving.

One disadvantage of an air spring system is the cost to buy, which is higher than a traditional spring suspension system. Only luxury cars tend to have a built-in air spring system as standard. However, the cost of installation could be offset by the resale price, which is generally higher than cars with a steel spring suspension.
Another advantage of air suspension is less wear and tear on the suspension system and vehicle components, due to reduced harshness and vibration, particularly with heavy-duty driving. Air suspension compensates for potholes, uneven surfaces and speed bumps in the road allowing your vehicle to glide easily over the road surface. While air suspension disadvantages include a higher cost to install and maintain, the benefits of air suspension cars speak for themselves. An air spring system is a reliable feature that provides improved comfort and quality when driving, the ability to tackle any terrain, the ability to carry a variety of load weights, and potential for better fuel economy.

If you’re hunting for even more power, their Stage 2 kit, which is run by Chris Forsberg In Formula Drift, is rated for over 800WHP and Stage 3 at a proven 1,000WHP.
