In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, if Annalisa is one of the villagers who moved in during the main storyline after the villager house development quest, her house will have a combination of non-craftable furniture, plus items crafted by players during the island development storyline, primarily from the Wooden Series. She cannot have her initial house interior unless she moves out of the player’s island or the Happy Home Paradise DLC is purchased, in which either the player or Isabelle can reset the interior.

She first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and has appeared in all subsequent games. In New Horizons, Annalisa has the nature hobby and may be found reading a book pertaining to an item she is studying, which can be either flowers, bugs, fish, or fossils.

Annalise has a snooty personality, which means she loves makeup and gossiping. As a snooty villager, Annalise will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She also speaks about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confiding in them about their own feelings but still keeping subtly rude. Annalise will not get along with lazy villagers due to them not caring about their appearance or the lazy villagers hating what she eats, and she won’t get along with jock villagers because they will question her on her physical appearance and they won’t worry about fashion. However, she will get along with cranky villagers due to their similar rude personalities, and usually normal villagers as well.

In New Leaf, Annalise’s house is very posh, like many other snooty villagers’ houses, and her choice of furniture primarily consists of the regal and rococo series, such as the regal lamp and the rococo bed. Her choice of wallpaper and flooring is the arched window and the stone tile. Her phonograph will play K.K. Sonata. In New Horizons, Annalise’s house is brown with a white latticework door and an orange thatch roof. The interior has the tropical vista wall and the yellow floral flooring. Most of their dialogues revolve around what they’ve done that day, and what the player has done for them. In certain cases, interacting and speaking to a villager triggers a mission, that usually requires players to run errands for the said villager.

These are the rarest villager types in New Horizons. Although players have an equal chance of running into them like any other villager in the game, they hold a more special place due to the scarcity of their numbers. Moreover, since they have different personalities, their interactions with players are really unique.
Ideally, there are no “rare” villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, since players have an equal chance of encountering every villager in the game. However, some animal species have fewer villager variants than others, so they are referred to as the rare villager type.

There are nine rhino villagers in the entire Animal Crossing franchise, of which seven have made their appearance in New Horizons. There are rhino villagers of every personality type except for peppy and smug.
Cows are the second most uncommon villager type present in New Horizons, having only four representatives in the title. Of these, there are two snooty villagers, one peppy villager, and one villager with a normal personality type. These four cows are named Naomi, Tipper, Patty, and Norma, respectively.

The game’s progression is tied to inviting new villagers to their island. When a player first starts off their adventure, they’ll have just one or two villagers on their island. However, in order to turn their piece of land into a happening place, players will have to invite other villagers. This can be done by exploring other islands, building a campsite and using aiimbo cards. The busier the island, the more crowd it’ll attract.
Octavian is the only octopus villager to have appeared in every Animal Crossing title. Although this doesn’t amount to much, it’s an interesting bit of trivia that everyone should know.Octopi are the rarest villager species in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Although they have been represented in every title in the franchise, there are only three different octopus villagers who have appeared in New Horizons, namely, Octavian, Marina, and Zucker.

The male counterparts of cows are just as difficult to find in New Horizons. The number of bulls in the game is just slightly more than the number of cows, since there are 6 bulls in New Horizons. Apart from the smug personality type, there are bulls of all other personality types in the franchise. There are nine alligator villagers in the franchise, of which eight have appeared in New Horizons. Apart from sisterly and peppy personality types, there is at least one alligator villager for every personality type in the game.

William Parks is an editor at Game Rant with a background in visual arts. Upon graduating from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, William entered the realm of fine arts administration, assisting curators, artists, and fine art professionals with the realization of contemporary art exhibitions. All the while, William’s passion for games remained. William’s first console was the NES, but when he was eight, it was The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on Game Boy that fully cemented his interest in the format. This interest reached a height with MMORPGs like Asheron’s Call 2, Star Wars Galaxies, and World of Warcraft, on which William spent considerable time up until college. Now, William enjoys playing Super Mario Maker 2 on the Switch with his daughter and finding time to sneak in the newest From Software game when possible. So too, an interest in Magic: The Gathering has persisted since William’s youth, and he can frequently be found watching Magic streams on Twitch and reading over the latest set spoilers.
His birthday is April 16th and his favorite colors are brown and yellow, while his favorite styles are cute and elegant. He is 1 of 2 male villagers that are a part of the Sanrio collab. Players can create a dream vacation home for Marty in Happy Home Paradise if they have his amiibo card. Her house is furnished with Little Twin Star-themed furniture and has a very dreamy design to it. She is the only villager in the Sanrio Collaboration pack that unlocks a new wand. It is the only wand in the game that can be purchased. Her birthday is December 25th and her favorite styles are cute and gorgeous, while her favorite colors are aqua and pink.
Updated May 15, 2023, by Ericka Blye: The Animal Crossing series is no stranger to collabs with Sanrio, the company behind the iconic Hello Kitty and all her friends. There was a collaboration between the two for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where players could purchase amiibo cards that would bring one of six Sanrio character-inspired villagers to a player’s campground. Another collab for Pocket Camp in 2019 featured Sanrio-themed events where players could get Sanrio-themed items like clothing and furniture. And in March 2021, Sanrio and Animal Crossing: New Horizons came out with another set of amiibo cards for players to invite Sanrio-themed villagers to their island’s campsite. These rare Animal Crossing villagers cannot be “adopted” from other player’s islands; the only way to get them is to have their amiibo cards. As is made clear by this list, octopuses are the rarest species in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with only three representatives: Marina, Octavian, and Zucker. Again, players will come across these individual villagers at the same frequency as every other villager in the game, it is simply less likely that they will encounter an octopus on their islands in ACNH than, for example, a cat that has much greater representation.

Since it is not technically possible to crown a villager as the rarest, players may need to think about other factors when trying to determine the best villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Fortunately, ACNH allows players quite a bit of flexibility when it comes to rotating the inhabitants of their islands, and thus fans need not be too concerned if they have a villager that they do not find particularly desirable.
Her house is furnished with My Melody-themed furniture in a very cute and very pink style. Players can buy several of the items in her home and My Melody-themed clothing through their catalog after her amiibo card is scanned. Her starting catchphrase is “pound cake,” which is based on My Melody’s favorite food. Her birthday is January 18th and her favorite styles are cute and gorgeous, while her favorite colors are pink and white.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players have the chance to meet a ton of different villagers, and there are a number of things to consider when trying to decide which of these critters a fan wants living on their island. One specific consideration that may be on some players’ minds is which Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers are the rarest, and this guide looks to shine some light on this matter.
Marty is a lazy cub villager themed after Pompoppurin. He wears a Pompoppurin t-shirt and a cute little beret, the same one that Pompoppurin wears. His house is Pompoppurin themed and, all of his furniture, as well as Pompoppurin-themed clothing, can be purchased through a player’s catalog after scanning his amiibo card.

To put things simply, players have an equal chance of encountering all the different villagers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which means that no individual villager is any rarer than any other one. That said, not every species is represented equally across ACNH’s villagers, which means that players are less likely to come across certain types of animals during their time with the game.

Is Annalisa a good villager?
Annalisa has a normal personality, and frequently acts kind towards the player. Normal villagers generally get along well with lazy, peppy, smug, snooty, and other normal villagers. Annalisa may conflict with cranky and sisterly villagers. Cached
These items and Keroppi-themed clothing items can be bought through a player’s catalog. His favorite style is cute and elegant and his favorite colors are green and red. His birthday is July 10th.The Sanrio Collaboration Pack was sold exclusively at Target and sold out fast, even with an order limit of 2 per customer. Unfortunately, the packs were sold for a limited time and are unavailable on any official Target or Nintendo websites. The only chance of getting these Sanrio villagers on one’s island now is to either take a chance buying them through websites like eBay at a heavily marked-up price, or through the generosity of someone who was able to purchase the pack. Because of this, these Sanrio amiibo villagers are some of the rarest ANCH villagers in the game.

Is Annalise a German name?
Annalise is a girl’s name of Latin and German origin, meaning “graced with God’s bounty.” Annalise is a variant of the Latin name Annalisa and has a pleasant, soothing sound to it.
All of this said, there is one caveat worth mentioning, and that is that every players begins ACNH with a female villager that has an Uchi personality and male villager that has a Jock personality. This means that Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans will have villagers of these two types living on their islands more often than every other type of villager, making them slightly more common.Looking for the latest gaming news, features, interviews, reviews, and deals? Chelsea is a normal deer villager with the play hobby, and she’s themed after My Melody. She wears a pink top with a pink flower pattern on it, a white flower in her hair, and she also wears a pink rabbit-eared headband. She also has a yellow button nose, similar to the one that My Melody has.
Ava is a normal chicken villager in the Animal Crossing series. She appears in all games to date except Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk. Her name comes from the word ova, the Latin word for eggs, which chickens lay. It is also possible that her name comes from the word “avian,” meaning bird. Her catchphrase, “beaker,” possibly originates from the word, beak.Ava is a normal villager, taking an interest in most hobbies, especially fishing and fossil hunting, and will act sweet and mother-like to the player and most other villagers. She goes to bed at 9:00 PM and will wake up at 5:00 AM, as she believes that too much sleep is unhealthy, and will express her concerns about this if the player has not spoken to her in a long time. As a result of her kindness, Ava gets along with many other villagers, as she acts parent-like to lazy villagers, and peppy villagers are alike as they are both “Girly”.Ava is a brown chicken with a plum-colored comb. Her face is a white color that transitions to brown when moving to behind her face. She also has large, black eyes that are crescent-shaped with beige outlines and eyelashes, giving her a country-esque look to her.

Who is the hardest villager to get?
Octopi are the rarest villager species in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Although they have been represented in every title in the franchise, there are only three different octopus villagers who have appeared in New Horizons, namely, Octavian, Marina, and Zucker.
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, if Ava is one of the villagers who moved in during the main storyline after the villager house development quest, her house will have a combination of non-craftable furniture, plus items crafted by players during the island development storyline, primarily from the Wooden Series. She cannot have her initial house interior unless she moves out of the player’s island or the Happy Home Paradise DLC is purchased, in which either the player or Isabelle can reset the interior. Her clever design has inspired a lot of fan art by various fans. She just looks so delicate, as though she is truly made of porcelain. Her colors are also super cute and mellow and give her a dainty appearance. This cub villager looks like a total teddy bear. She has also been in every Animal Crossing game so far. She is the cutest of the cub villagers, with Stitches coming in at a close second (mostly because some players find him creepy instead of cute).Sasha is the cutest boy bunny of all with large sweet eyes and seafoam-colored fur. His ear tips, hands, and nose are white and his tail and hair have a splash of yellow. His personality is lazy, making him one of the cutest ACNH villagers next to Dom the sheep.

Dom is a sheep villager that debuted in the recent release of New Horizons and it’s not hard to see why many fans consider him to be the absolute cutest. His permanent puppy-dog eyes just tug on the heartstrings of any who look at him.Her cutest traits are her name, glittery eyes, and pink fur, not to mention her default outfit is also pretty adorable. Her name likely comes from the idea that dog treats are “cookies”, as her catchphrase of “arfer” also plays on her being a dog.

Some Animal Crossingvillagers are more popular than others though. If you played these games, there was always that villager cuter than all the rest that you hoped would never move out of town. Also, this is a countdown of villagers and not characters that exist in every single town. Therefore, here are some adorable Animal Crossing villagers ranked down to the cutest.

Among these new villagers, there are already fan-favorites, so of course, they needed to be included in any discussion on the cutest villagers. Some of these guys are so cute, it is difficult for players to choose who to keep on their island and who to kick out.
Her fur is the color of maple syrup, so her look and her name fit together in a rather cute way. The light peach blush and hair tuft are also sweet little details. She is one cub you would not mind coming to your campsite.

The squirrel villagers are particularly cute due to their tiny bodies with their fluffy tails and large heads. Poppy was introduced in Animal Crossing City Folk and she was popular enough to appear in the Animal Crossing track in Mario Kart 8.The moment Shino was announced, Animal Crossing fans started creating many pieces of art of her. Diana, another cute female deer villager, finally has competition in terms of popularity. Rosie stands as one of if not the most popular Animal Crossing villager. She is a cat, and a lot of the cat villagers are adorable. She has appeared in every game, has a peppy personality, and was even a major character with a good deal of screen time in the Animal Crossing anime, Dōbutsu no Mori. Kid Cat is one of the cutest of the jock personality villagers. He is one of five superhero-themed villagers which include Agent S the squirrel, Rocket the gorilla, Filly the horse, and Big Top the elephant. Out of those five, Kid Cat is also the most adorable.Sherb’s house is very neat and tidy and is largely in hues of green and purple. Sherb has a love of napping, and this is also emphasized by his favorite K.K. Slider song being Hypno K.K..Part of what makes Ione cute are her names across multiple languages as they relate to cosmology or mythology. Ione itself is ancient Greek for a violet flower and a nymph in mythology. Her other names such as Spica and Vega are based on stars. While Lucky may look spooky, he is a villager with a lazy personality so his favorite activities are napping, snacking, and being an all-around wholesome individual.

Let’s face it, nearly every Animal Crossing villager is as cute as a button. That is part of what makes the series so popular. They are all just adorable with their giant heads and little bodies. It makes it easier to do the fetch quests for them all day.Her default clothing is the Chef’s Outfit, which is rather fitting for her food theme. Like Tia, her unique design has made her a favorite for fan artists and there is some amazing fan art of this villager out there.

Is Annalise rare?
Annalise was the 385th most popular girls name. In 2021 there were 803 baby girls named Annalise. 1 out of every 2,216 baby girls born in 2021 are named Annalise.
The Chinese theme continues in her home decor, which is stunningly beautiful and is mainly comprised of items from the Imperial series. Pekoe also appears on the cover of K.K. Slider’s song Imperial K.K., which also happens to be her favorite song.Of course, the black cat villager would be on this list. Her fur color makes those large and adorable eyes pop. She is also a normal personality villager, so she is super nice to the protagonist.

Sylvana first appeared in Animal Forest e+ but didn’t return to the series until the Welcome Amiibo update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Fortunately, she also reappeared for New Horizons as she is so cute. Though she is a squirrel, her facial markings are more reminiscent of a ferret. It is amazing how sometimes just taking away a character’s nose makes them all the more adorable. That was Lolly’s case anyway. Though her original Japanese name is Ramune, which if you think about it, is even cuter than Lolly since Ramune is a special Japanese soda.

Updated November 4th, 2021, by Allison Stalberg:Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 has added a ton of content to the game, from new furnishing to buildings and, of course, adorable villagers. In fact, they introduced eight new and exciting villagers to live on people’s islands along with eight others that have been in previous Animal Crossing titles, such as Ace and Rio.
She is a normal type villager who has an absolutely beautiful home that is set up to be a picnic amidst a cherry tree grove. Rather fittingly, her favorite song is Spring Blossoms. His initial catchphrase is “psst” like everything he is telling you is a secret. It is theorized that he was inspired by a popular Japanese franchise called Super Sentai. What can we say? The cat villagers make up most of the cutest character designs.

Out of the Animal Crossing personalities, Poppy’s is normal so she is pretty kind to the protagonist and easy to make friends with. Other squirrels that are super cute include Marshal and Peanut but Poppy takes a place on this list because her beady little eyes are just too dang adorable.
