Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' famous friends, Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman, could be served with subpoenas as part of the It Ends with Us legal battle, a source tells PEOPLE.
"Anyone that had any knowledge of this situation will be subpoenaed, no matter of their celebrity status," the source says.
However, another insider says Swift and Jackman are "not privy to anything going on," adding that claims they will be subpoenaed are "smoke and mirrors and trying to distract from the allegations against Baldoni."
PEOPLE is out to attorneys for both Lively, 37, and Baldoni, 41, for comment, as well as representatives for Swift and Jackman.

"This wasn't a decision made on a whim — it was months in the making," a source told PEOPLE of Lively earlier this month. "She knew there would be backlash, and she prepared herself for how mentally and emotionallydifficult it would be."
The insider said the Another Simple Favor actress has "no regrets" about suing Baldoni, adding, "She can't go through life knowing she didn't stand up to something she believed was wrong."

60 Minutes Australiaaired a segment on April 13 that dived into Lively and Baldoni's ongoing legal battle. The program interviewed crew memberTalia Spencer, who described the Jane the Virgin alum as "one of the few directors I've worked for that was kind and respectful."
"I feel like maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness and tried to take advantage and take power," Spencer said, of how she thinks the situation between the pair developed on set.
When asked whether she thought the former Gossip Girl star "wrestled control of the film" away from Baldoni, Spencer replied, "I think she tried to, yes."
"Probably, yeah," she added, when asked if she felt like Lively succeeded in that task. "I think there was a massive compromise in terms of Justin's original vision for the film."
A representative for Lively did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment at the time.
