Sift and pan and find rubies, sapphires, emeralds, amethysts, and more in their outdoor or indoor water flumes. Three marked hiking trails, too, start at the parking lot and are fairly short. The shortest trail is 480 feet (Blue, Easy), followed by the moderate Yellow (1,221 feet) and Red (1,239 feet) trails. North Carolina’s Chimney Rock State Park is one of the most iconic attractions in Hendersonville’s eastern neighbor, Rutherford County.
