Wines & Cocktails: The wine list focuses on wines from around the world and highlights specific producers including Texas wineries, William Chris and Alta Marfa, as well as Oregon’s The Eyrie Vineyards and Maysara Winery. Cocktails will be classic and straightforward with seasonal twists. Pastry director Jen Tucker and baking director Alex Manley oversee an extensive list of pastries and hearth-baked breads and cakes, including morning buns, chewy ginger molasses cookies, lemon tartlets, sweet and savory scones and Manley’s beloved bagels. Celebratory cakes and custom orders are also available.The full-bar features classic tiki cocktails including a traditional Mai Tai, a frozen Hurricane, and a mezcal Depth Charge. Simple selections of draft and can beer and Rosé are also available.

Nigiri in classic cuts of Japanese Red Snapper, Sea Bream and Santa Barbara Uni are complemented by vegetarian preparations of Texas Sweet Corn topped with togarashi & serrano, and specialty bites like the Kushi Oyster with mignonette pickle. Rolls and hand rolls round out the menu with original arrangements of Grilled Enoki Mushrooms with yuzu kosho and Tempura Shrimp with coconut macadamia and purple shiso.The restaurant has an indoor marble & pecan bar, banquettes in the cozy dining room, and comfortable outdoor seating with an awning under the tree-shaded deck for lunch, brunch, happy hour and dinner.The second floor restaurant, with views of the surrounding mountains, includes a large dining room with table and booth seating, large bar, two outdoor patios, and ample space for large parties. The colorful interior, designed by Lambert McGuire Design, features familiar Mexican elements such as arched door openings, weathered wood detailing, bright tile, and rustic furniture.Menu highlights include ten types of table top sizzling fajitas, enchiladas, queso with tostadas and fresh tortillas, ceviches and aguachiles, nachos, and lobster quesadillas. In addition to a large selection of tequilas, mezcal, and other agave spirits, Las Montañas will feature frozen cocktails, cold beers, and an extensive wine list.
The menu offers riffs on standards including Housemade Mozzarella Sticks, Clams Casino, and Caesar Salad a la Tommy; timeless pastas like Spaghetti with Meatballs, and Linguine Vongole; and Sammie’s Classics: big portions of iconic plates like Chicken and Eggplant Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Baked Manicotti. The Griglia section includes Whole Lobster with Garlic-Lemon Butter and Dry-Aged Bistecca alla Fiorentina for two. Cheesecake, cannoli, and gelato round out the meal.
