I will give the knife 5 stars at the moment, I haven’t had any issues with it, although I’ve only used it minimally. Now with that in mind, I would give the shoulder harness and sheath maybe 2 stars, as I am a huge guy the threading had started separating after an hour of wearing, maybe even when I was adjusting it to my shoulder width and height, and I would prefer better constructing in the sheath, the Velcro won’t last long and may be a safety issue in future.
Arrived on time with no delays. Came in very sharp out of the box also came with a shoulder harness. Easy to wear and adjust. The elastic is not the best materials though. Not a fan of the elastic. Good sheath and the snap holds tightly, well made, feels nice in the hand, very sharp. The shoulder harness is easy to wear and adjustable. Totally affordable and worth getting for $17.99. No complaints here I definitely got my money’s worth and no problems at all. I’m satisfied with my purchase once again. I will always buy from Budk.
i have this item is been one year and half since i got it and with no aid from me it is still as sharp as the day i got it. i wear it for work cuz i work in a very remote area and having it on makes me safe knowing i can deploy it at a moments notice. Only negatives about this knife, is the no lock sheath. When in the face down position (pummel down, tip up) it is extremely easy to have the knife fall out. Unless you take the time to use both hands to re-snap the blade into place, it will free fall, as there is absolutely nothing locking the blade into the sheath. A slight lock would be a nice addition, without interfering with a fast open.

The balance is very nice and well weighted for both combat and throwing if needed. I received this today in the mystery no box elite level and I immediately fell in love with it. I love dagger and boot knifes. The only drawback, I’m not a fan of the sheath. With no retention aside from the cheap snap, not what I would call a safe sheath. Kydex would have been a better option for this blade especially with it’s tactical designs. Aside from the sheath, love this dagger and will definitely be buying another when I get the chance.With a 4 inch handle this knife fits and feels great in my hands. Due to the fact their is no boot clip on the sheath, I would not classify this dagger as a boot knife; I’d call it a knife designed to be worn vertically on your belt with amenities for upper body wear. I like the fact that this knife has a plastic lining in the nylon sheath. For a dagger I like how thick the tip is for durability. A sharp dagger will not cut as effectively as a sharp Bowie, but this comes with a respectably sharp edge and will be well suited for light cutting tasks. I wish this knife came in a Swaged Clipped Point

I have to say the knife is perfect, good weight, balance, sharp blade, HOWEVER the shoulder rid holster is crap . The band rubs you raw on your neck, the diagram of how to put it on is properly and how to ware is useless. It does not hold the blabe close to the body undetected I got fed up with it I tried to wear it on belt thw belt is 1 inch, still to big to slip into the slots at all. Besides knife in the way. I tried with the 2 larger slots and no luck with them, So here I have a great knife sitting in the box unuseable no way to carry. GREAT KNIFE POOR HOLSTER RIG
I got the Honshu Karambit with shoulder holster today, it feels very good in hand. Pulled the plastic off blade and cleanly shaved patch of hair off arm very easily. I like the look and feel of this one i think I’ll get another with the boot sheath.1st of the harness is not the best but you can always buy a quality one. Now the knife itself is insane, the blade has a wicked curve and is extremely sharp!
i bought one of these before i decided to make an account. none the less i loved it. i bought it because i carve my own bokken. and i wanted to put design on some of my lesser quality wood sparring swords. it worked well enough for the job. now that im done with that hobby i rarely take it out of the house. but never the less it is a traditional crav megave knife from a high quality seller. i would trust this knife with my life. BTW for the people who read this review the sheath is sturdy but a little awkward. one loop goes around the left arm the strap goes behind the neck and down the right side of the body and clips two your belt. (the sheath is not ambidextrous
The Karambit is a very nice knive. You can effectively hold it facing almost any direction, though normally it is held downward facing in or out. This one is very sturdy, nice blade and handle, and cuts smoothly. Tip is a bit squared off, not a real issue considering the angle you strike at. The sheath however, is an elaborate piece of junk. Not the one pictured on here or the box. From the belt, over the shoulder, and loop around the arm. No strap coming down the back. My arm loop was put together twisted, so there is always that awkward twist somewhere. Regardless of the straps, the sheath itself is rather bulky. Noticeable immediately. Also a very awkward draw, the sheath faces to the left. So, once you grab the knife you have to twist your wrist uncomfortably while pulling back and away from you. In terms of ease of use and concealment, the sheath is pure garbage. Knife is amazing though.
