We paid for carpet cleaners regularly every 4 months because we are obsessed with having a clean apartment. In California it is *illegal* for your apartment to take out of your deposit for normal wear and tear. I guarantee there was no excessive wear and tear on our apartment. And yet, we received our bill in the mail and Summer Meadows has nickeled and dimed us to the point that not a single cent of our deposit was return. Not one SINGLE cent. That is how you can tell they went out of their way to keep every last penny. We were charged for random fees for anything their accountant could possibly think of. Do NOT chose to live here! But if you have to, don’t take care of your place. It’s not worth it.
