The waitress came back…and informed me of the price. I thought this was odd. I said, “ok”. Not sure if she was informing me of cost because others before me have complained or if I looked like I couldn’t afford it. Either way it was odd. I like expensive tequila, what can I say. The bar was loud and crowded, lots of people having fun. I would have stayed longer and ordered a more expensive drink but I just shook it off and went to my room. Why have good liquor if you question those who order it? My friend made fun of me and we had a laugh. I guess I look like I drink the cheap stuff! Oh well.More Trip Advisor web site seems a bit out of date. The St Paul Grill re-opened in early Oct. We went a few days later during restaurant week, so had their fixed prix dinner. It was up to their usual high standards. We normally like to…come a bit late, about 10 pm or so and sit in their classy bar and have a light late night supper. But their new hours post-covid appear to preclude that with the kitchen closing at 9:30. The StP Grill may lose business. They usually has a lot of business after the performances at the Ordway and events at the Excel center.More Sondra and Edward were the best! Both very accommodating and pleasant. Warm cheese plate great, crab cake amazing with mostly crab meat! Chicken pot pie delish, salmon salad well seasoned & nice presentation, wanted to try specials but very pricey.
